Driving from San Jose to Golfito takes aprox. 7 hours. The trip could be tired but the experience to know the surroundings will make you forget the long way.
Our company has a location in Golfito and Puerto Jimenez just in front of the Airstrips. The main problem to get access to many areas could be the poor transportation options you will find here. As we know very well; only 4x4 cars can be driving through these roads so we recommend only 4x4 to get here.
